If you could play one character in any musical, who would it be? I'd probably be Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd or Glinda in Wicked, just cause I would love to sing Popular.
Ivy in Bare Mimi in RENT (although I'm much too white to do it, but I can dream) Wendla in S.A. Elphaba in Wicked Michael in Billy Elliot. (shut up. He's really cute.) OOH, can I be Elle too? And Kathy in The Last 5 Years. And... no, I'm kidding. I can't think of anything else. For now. Wow. AVENUE Q!! God... You shouldn't ask people this. Too many to list, many too many... I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
Just to come down the stage all effed up saying "I'm Ready for My Closeup"
"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."
I'll be playing Phyllis Rogers Stone opposite C is for Company's Sally Durant 25 years from now off-off-off-Broadway. Also, Carla in NINE and Flaemmchen in GRAND HOTEL.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
Characters I would like to take the role of(not in a particular order): 1. One of the Jersey Girls from jersey boys 2. ensemble in the lion king 3. Margot/Ensemble-Legally Blonde 4. Ensemble in hairspray on broadway 5. Pink Lady-Grease 6. A von trapp daughter-sound of music
Tracy in Hairspray is my big one, but I would love to be Kate in Avenue Q or Audrey in Little Shop.
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!"
-Kermit the frog"I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P."Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu""...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu
After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu
Also, JRybka...Norma is already on the landing of the staircase when she says her famous monologue which concludes with the famous "...and now, Mr. DeMille -- I'm ready for my close-up...". She doesn't come down the staircase saying that.
Ugh, you can't possibly expect me to pick ONE, can you?
Maggie or Kristine in A CHORUS LINE Cinderella in INTO THE WOODS Mother in RAGTIME Amy in COMPANY Beth in LITTLE WOMEN Audrey in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS Louise in GYPSY (although I was told I would be more of a Dainty June, which I could live with- I look younger than I am)

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...
"Every day has the potential to be the greatest day of your life." - Lin-Manuel Miranda
"And when Idina Menzel is singing, I'm always slightly worried that her teeth are going to jump out of her mouth and chase me." - Schmerg_the_Impaler
