I really can't sing worth anything, but if I could, I would love to play...
*Javert [Les Miserables] *Carmen [The Producers] *Audrey II [Little Shop] *Lucy [Jekyll and Hyde] *Mrs. Lovett [Sweeney Todd] *Belle [BatB] <=massive in-joke with my friends because my boyfriend was the Beast in our school production a couple of years ago...and he still doesn't know.
I will never be able to play half of these roles even if I could sing because I'm a girl, but, seriously, I've always thought guys had more interesting parts. Like my mum says, the lower the part, the more dynamic it is!
Johanna or Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd Columbia, Magenta, or Janet in Rocky Horror Show Hope in Urinetown. Olive or Marcy in Spelling Bee
You must think I'm still sixteen.
I dropped out of high school for a reason.
And I don't care if you're pretty. I'm not admitting you are right.
My soul is not a stage.
I won't pretend I'm anything I'm not
If I started a broadway career right now, This is how I would like it to progress as I age.
I definitely would like to play Mark from RENT first. (20-25) Fiero from Wicked. (25-30) Franz Liebkind from The Producers. (30-35) Sweeney Todd from Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. (35-40) The Phantom from The Phantom of the Opera. (40-50) The Wizard from Wicked. (50+) Then retirement.
PS: If I ever actually do have a career that went exactly like this (how I dreamed it would be), then I most likely either had to sell my soul, or give up my first born.
- Ilse in Spring Awakening - Elphaba in Wicked - Maureen in RENT - Kate Monster/Lucy in Ave. Q - Janet in Drowy Chaperone - Mary Poppins - Belle (haha....since I was 3, it was a dream of mine :-p) - Eve/Barbara/Passionella in The Apple Tree
