Hadestown has been rumored to be shuttering since September but nothing concrete has surfaced.

I have a feeling it might be announced at the beginning of next month? Maybe? Or are we thinking it may try to last until the spring?

1.) It would need to transfer theaters.
2.) Seat Geek or the show's website isn't showing anything.

Where did you see this because I went through the calendar through July and I do not see anything...

Sorry, I was talking about Hadestown. Should’ve quoted the message above.

This is not tour related or anything, but with Into The Woods mentioned I just wanted to say how much I love David Patrick Kelly. He's awesome as the Narrator/Mysterious Man.

I just got a promo email from Playbill saying a new block of tickets for Hadestown are on sale through Sept 3 2023. Not that things can’t change, but that seems like a sign they are optimistic about it running for most of next year.
Also, on topic for this thread, I’m excited to buy my tickets for the Philadelphia tour stop tomorrow. It took me a second to realize the Miller Theatre was the former Merriam. It’s been years since I saw a show there.

Thank you for that! I want to see the tour in Philadelphia as well, so this is good to know..unless it's just for subscribers...

Subscribers have had access to tickets for a couple days now, but general on sale is tomorrow.
Honestly I’ve done the Kimmel digital rush to mostly great success, seat location-wise, but I don’t know what demand for this will be and want to get decent seats for this.

Meant to say Rapunzel's Prince which per the article had not yet been cast.
According to this article, many from the current BWAY cast will be going to DC including SJB, Sebastian, Montego, Gavin, and Kennedy."
Does anyone know who Rapunzel's cast will be for the tour?

Alysia Velez will continue as Rapunzel for the tour.

Based on the new dates for Nashville released today, May 23-28th, we can confidently rule out the production attempting a limited return engagement during awards season as their initial touring schedule possibly indicated with a month long break between the Chicago stop ending on May 7th and the San Francisco stop not starting until June 20th. I can't find the dates for Orlando, which was already announced today, but I guess we can assume it will be either the beginning in early May or June.

Midweek performance in Chicago felt rushed. Actors were racing through the book scenes and making neutral acting choices. I’ve seen too many ambitious productions of this show to be wowed by one that’s merely competent.
Standouts were Diane Phelan’s gutsy Cinderella, Kennedy Kanagawa’s droll Milky White and understudy Ximone Rose’s sexually frustrated Bakers Wife. Gavin Creel and Jason Forbach’s cartoon Princes energized act one. But they’d run out of ideas by act two. Other performers ranged from workmanlike to surprisingly bland.

I won the lottery for tomorrow night in Chicago. Does anyone know where the lottery seats have been? Is SJB back in? Thanks :)
