Yes, I have my MM ticket for April 14- and also bought two for June- and am hopeful that I will want to get on a plane and fly to NYC from Atlanta. But, with the virus out of control- vaccines a maybe- and when they do arrive- the testing- the amount of coverage, the side affects- all need to be monitored. Anyway, although I am hopeful- I do not count out the possibility that this will go on and on...like that Titanic song."
Is April too soon is your original question, right? I'd say yes. The idea that Broadway is suddenly announcing it is re-up now is a bit silly to me. It's for a profit. They're looking to take your $ again, and if things are pushed back, everyone will wonder once again when they'll get their refund. It's absurd, but not at all unexpected. I'm as hopeful as the next for things to return to the usual, but this is just painful to watch as I know so many are eager enough to spend money on hope.
