This “article” from a couple days ago popped up for me just now and I can’t figure out what she’s trying to say here.

It reads like she recorded herself talking in her sleep and just uploaded it to their website.

Evidently no editors over there, either, even when it comes to matters of misgendering a person. Low even for Post standards. Her columns have the energy of my uncle's facebook ramblings.

I believe she and Rupert are close (he's given her scoop about his personal life), so he doesn't care and has instructed those above Cindy not to care either.

This Miramontez press stunt provided a good eye-roll, though.

I don't know if anything ever came of this but a casting notice came out last year for a workshop of a new production of CATS within the context of the ballroom scene a la Paris Is Burning. I imagine that's what she's referring to here....

The documentary on Cindy is brilliant. I believe it was several parts and not only tells the story of her amazing career but also her private life.

Totally recommend it

Adams seems to try to emulate the old school writing style of original gossip columnists like Dorothy Kilgallen and Hedda Hopper. Their columns also read more like bullet points than narratives. I was always fascinated by these women until I actually got to pick the brains of someone who knew them personally. I was told they were very powerful but also very, very stupid. The Post panders to deplorables, so it’s no surprise that they would misgender someone. It’s probably very intentional.

I thought I commented and not if/why it was deleted. Anyway, yeah she's referring to the Ballroom Scene-set CATS, which had a 2nd workshop recently. I'm fully expecting it to be in the Perelman's inaugural season, since Bill Rauch co-directed the workshop and runs that new theatre.
