Actors being out of work is bad and all. But this cast was barely post-pubescent. It's not like they need to support themselves and now have to go back to work for a temp agency or catering company. These kids have a lifetime of opportunities.
Because of the JRB score, I really wanted to see this, but I won't make it to NYC anytime soon.
The only good news for me is that I can get the OBCR soon, since I'm no longer waiting to see the show first.

Forbidden Broadway has run for 27 years. How you can compare it to 13 is insane. FB is a very funny, intelligent off Broadway revue.
13 is a sitcom put to music with as much excitement as SAVED BY THE BELL.
It is just my opinion. I am not a 12 year old girl, if I was maybe I would be the correct audience for 13.

I never said it was good or deserved to be on Broadway, but I just think it's rude to start threads making fun a show closing. That's all.
I had no interest in this show whatsoever, but still: It is sad to see yet another show that isn't based on an animated character closing so soon.

Heyyyy - Saved By the Bell brought me a lot of excitement!

I brought it up, because you have been pushing the show for that same 27 years, and who are you (or anyone else, for that matter) to decide whether or not something is "worthy" or not to be on Broadway? I know a ton of people that think that their neighborhood public school could put on a better show than "FB". I know scores of people that walked out on it.
Shows close on Broadway because they dont do well financially, not because someone, like yourself, decides that its not worthy to be on Broadway. They close because they cant find an audience.
(For example--- "Title Of Show", "Caroline or Change", "Passing Strange"- just to name some recent ones.)
Many people considered these shows to be brilliant ( I know I did in the case of "Caroline Or Change")
The insane thing is not comparing one show to another- its people deciding that they know what it worthy of being on Broadway or not.
