Way too early, and I liked Next To Normal.

Posted: 8/16/13 at 11:09amAlice keeps saying she killed Diana so don't hope for her return if someone mounts the show again.

Posted: 8/16/13 at 11:10amI miss the show with a passion, but I think it is too soon. Give it ten years.

Posted: 8/16/13 at 11:14amA movie adaptation with Toni Collette is needed in my opinion! I know I'm not the first to say it but..

Posted: 8/16/13 at 11:20amToni would be great. I have always wondered what it would be like if Tina Fey played Diana.

Posted: 8/16/13 at 11:22amthe trendy thing would be a black n2n, or even asian

Posted: 8/16/13 at 11:26amN2N had an Asian understudy for Diana on tour. She went on a lot. I'd prefere color blind casting than an all black, all asian...whatever.

Posted: 8/16/13 at 11:27amDid this show go back to off broadway once it closed on broadway. I know it started off broadway then transferred but why did it never go back. I really want to see this again so I hope a revival is soon but it's unlikely.

I've been to a few of her concerts and heard her say that, including the wonderful show at 54 Below, and also she's said it on Twitter a couple of times when fans ask if she'll ever play Diana again.

I don't think I could sit through a movie version of N2N. Part of the show for me was the LIVE theater experience. Feeling the pain. Feeling the music. I don't know if they could capture all the emotion on film.
I don't like the film versions of Les Miz and Hairspray either. Too much was missed, songs were messed with or roles were HORRIBLY miscast IMHO.

@RainbowHigh, Sorry I am a bit confused, Is Alice Ripley saying she thinks the character is dead? As in Diana dies after the show from Suicide or something? Or Did Alice just mean she never wants to play the role again?

^^^
She means that Diana is dead "to her" as in she won't play that part again.

What Tazber said, I would think.
With all the speculation about what exactly happened with Diana I'd love to see a sequel!
