As much as I'd like to encourage you to tell them and be yourself if it could result in say, getting kicked out of the house.

I feel your pain. still COOCOO for CREEL

I'm really sorry to hear that Jazzy. My heart goes out to you. I hope no matter what you choose to do, you know that I (and I'm sure the rest of your friends on the board) are behind you 100%. And I hope no matter what you choose to do, you get to come to NYC and be yourself. Because that's why we love you.

On a sillier note, I just watched "Eloise at the Plaza" and "Eloise at Christmastime" just because Gavin was in them. I'm a sad, sad fangirl.

And here, Jazzy. For you:

see, I'm the kind of person that would ask one of my female friends to kiss me in front of my parents so I could go see the show. you probablly have much more respect fore your parents so you might not do that. I find that ridiculous that your parents put you in that situation. no offense jazzy but that's just wrong.

Haha...I'm looking back on the things I wrote and I can tell that it was a mix between anger and excessive maple syrup that made me write with so many capital letters and extra punctuation. Now that it's been a little while and I'm not as PO'd...I thought about it a little more. My parents meant well, they were only trying to find out why I'm so secretive about girls. The one thing you should understand is that my siblings have always told my parents about every single crush and they have always come to them for advice when it comes to dating and the opposite sex...so they are extremely confused as to why I'm not the same way. I'm thinking about it even more and I don't think they really meant 'Get a girlfriend or you will never see the lights of NYC', what they were trying to tell me was to open up to them and not be so embarrassed to talk to them. I think they are pretty sure that I'm not straight (I won't lie...it's very easy to tell) but they have no idea how to approach that topic very well. In their minds, I'm either gay or I'm scared to talk to them about 'teen love'. This is not the first time that they've asked me if I'm gay in public places. Orthodontist's office, the mall, target...everywhere. They have told me many times 'Jazzy, if you're gay...that is fine. We will still love you'. I honestly think that they think I'm scared that they won't love me...and that is NOT the case. Many of you understand that there is more to coming out than just that. It has to be the right time for both the person coming out and the person finding out...and right now, I don't feel ready to tell my family. The only people I've told are you guys (because...nobody here 'actually' knows me) and 1 friend. They meant well, they just said it in the wrong way, at the wrong place, and at the wrong time.

Those pictures made me smile still COOCOO for CREEL

[hugs back singalong]

Thank you for all your support and for not bashing me for completely changing the topic...I just really needed to vent. I love this thread, because we all share are love for Gavin and because it's cheaper than therapy. LOL!

The real question is,
Why the HELL were we eating a breakfast in the evening?!?

I'm glad to hear that your parents will accept you no matter what. I've heard too many times from my friends of the exact opposite. Just tell them whenever you're ready to tell them. I'm sure they'll appreciate you confiding in them. But until that time comes, just hang in there and if you need to talk/vent, we won't begrudge you a bit of that here still COOCOO for CREEL

You know, she actually pushed me out of the way to get her picture taken with Steel first? Crazy, crazy lady.

If it wasn't for the fact that she has a bum knee, was using my camera and really, really wanted to see Steel, I think she would have chased them down the street. No wonder she loves my bff.....

I got my picture taken with Gavin right in front of the Private Eyes logo. It makes me laugh. People who wouldn't know any better would probably think that "this guy" and I posed for a picture in front of the strip club on purpose. Trust me, it was not intentional. It just so happened that Gavin was standing down there at the time. :)
