She will now be in the show through February 15! My phone isn't allowing me to paste the link, but my source is the New York daily news!!!!!
That's only 2 weeks as she was originally set for 2/1 as her final performance.
The Hiptix are going fast for that extension.
The BWW article says the show will close officially on March 29. Is this true as well??
While I'm deligted Emma is extending, I think the bigger news is that Cabaret has now said it's definitely closing on March 29.

Still, 2 weeks is 2 weeks! Plus, she'll be there for Broadway week (1/2 off tix)

I think it should have been expected for this to close on March 28, when Alan left. Remember, before Emma came in for about two months the show fell into a little slump and if Alan got replaced (he's much more popular now then he was in 199
the money was drop rapidly.
Surprised they didn't try to stunt cast at all though, which was what the original revival was known for. Did this production bring in the $ for the Roundabout as they apparently had hoped for?
Can I get a refund if I got tickets for her last?

The new and final Sally will be announced soon. I won't be surprised if it's Lohan.
Studio 54 would have been perfect for the Visit, and Cabaret closed it time, and Roundabout STILL passed on it.

blaxx, you may be able to exchange. Visceral_Fella, I honestly really would be SHOCKED (and not in a good way) if it was Lohan. If this recoups will it be announced, or no because it's non-profit, Roundabout?
No, it is non for profit so no "recouping".
I think Lohan would be fine. If not, Snooki.
Fantod, CABARET is not closing in time for THE VISIT to take Studio 54. Shows have to be open by April 23rd to qualify for the Tonys. There's no way any show coming into that space would have enough time to tech and preview before that date with CABARET not finishing its run until March 29th, particularly considering the additional time it will take to revert Studio 54 to a traditional seating arrangement again.
As far as the next Sally goes, for what it's worth, I'd venture to guess they've lined up someone far fancier than Lindsay Lohan to justify keeping the show open for such a small window post-Emma Stone.
Oh, I guess you're right. Never mind then. I wonder if they will try to squeeze something small into 54 before Tony cutoff
Is there a way to figure out how to get a Hiptix for any day? I don't care who I see. I just want to see this production.
Im truly upset this is ending in March. With the caliber of talent of stardom that we've had with Cumming, Williams, and Stone, I can only dream of the awesome replacements they could've come up with. What a shame...
This is the same production that ran over 5 years in the same venue.
Nice that we got a taste of it back, but it would be naive to think we can get it back every 10 years and have it run for decades.
How did the Merton at the Movies reading go last month? Roundabout would be fools not to try and entice Jim Parsons back for that same early summer slot they did Harvey in while he's on break from The Big Bang Theory.
Then something big and exciting can come in for the fall.
Good for them.
Kinda surprised too, that it wasn't overly stunt-casted, considering that Rob Marshall was co-directing, and you know how his casting always ends up like... But I guess he didn't really get to cast much because he was the co -director and choreographer...

Streep is coming in to close the show out.
Would love to see Lindsay Lohan come into this. Anyone know if Roundabout is going to try to squeeze something in, come Tony time?
When we saw Cabaret on Dec 30, we bought a Flexpass from Roundabout which was $350 and it gives you four tickets. So that's just $87.50 per ticket. You can buy four tickets to Cabaret or use them up on Cabaret and other Roundabout productions this season. Really worth getting if you're thinking of seeing this show. Take 3 other friends along. The seats we got were great. I bought a Flexpass and got 3 Cabaret tickets and one for The Real Thing for $350.
After Cabaret ends. Roundabout should consider refurbishing the theater. It is in desperate need of one. It would be a jewel if this happened.

"Surprised they didn't try to stunt cast at all though"
Maybe they tried and couldn't get anyone for the time they needed.
RippedMan, call them and ask.
