Somebody has to make up their mind about this sounding like THE FOUR SEASONS thing.
When it was leaked that there were singers off-stage sweetening the sound, People started saying, that's just because that's how the FOUR SEASONS did it and we want to re create the sound as much as possible.
Now they are stating (read that blog) they don't intend to sound just like them.
you don't get it both ways kids.

I'm glad they had a blast performing on National TV, but it was a poor representation of the show. (which i didn't like anyway)

Well of course they aren't going to sound like the Four Seasons exactly, they aren't the real Four Seasons. Their voices aren't carbon copies of the real Four Seasons so they aren't going to sound exactly like the Four Season down to the smallest detail. And in my opinion neither does the broadway cast. I think both cast come close, but they aren't exact replicas. Now if you're thinking style wise, then both cast sound like the Four seasons.

And honestly, if you really want to hear a group that sounds exactly like the Four Seasons, then buy a Four Seasons album. I think everyone should check out the songs that aren't in the show because they really are, in my opinion, one of greatest American pop groups. I know this show made me check out more of their music. And if your thinking about it, I recommend the 2 disk Anthology.
