Wasn't Jackee Harry from Sister Sister going to be in Matilda? I just read that she was going to play Miss Phelps, now it's not her.
"DEAR NAOMI: The comedic actress of "227" and "Sister, Sister" fame is heading to Broadway as one of the stars of the forthcoming Matilda, the Musical. Based on the same Roald Dahl book as the 1996 feature film "Matilda," about a precocious young girl who loves to read, has unpleasant parents — and telekinetic capabilities — the new musical version won raves and awards on London's West End. It's set to open on Broadway in April, and Jakee is playing Miss Phelps."

Posted: 4/13/13 at 11:10pmI have never heard that she was even remotely considered by the creative team. I was also at Chelsea Studios working on another project during the time that they were doing final callbacks for the show and she certainly was nowhere to be seen.

She's actually involved in Girl Meets World, the spin off of Boy Meets World. The article was from yesterday.
