I was worried about turning Alanis's distinctive voice/sound into Broadway songs, but they just released You Learn (with a little of Thank U at the end) and it sounds good! I'll definitely be heading out to see this in the fall:

Thats sick!!! I remember when my friend made her broadway debut, I almost teared up at the curtain call!
So looking forward to this!!!!
Sidebar - I'm loving the new logo and marketing.

One thing to allay your fears: I found the orchestrations and the voices to be the absolute STRONGEST part of the run at the ART.
So exciting, hope they fix some of the book though!
SOME? The entire book needs to be thrown out and redone.
I know, but I don't think we will get that lucky.

J, what [If anything] would you keep from the original plot?
They took their time for a reason so...
The daughters struggle about adoption/race and the mum's addiction. MORE than enough. (
The biggest change I would make is to completely eliminate the son from the story. He serves no purpose except say he saw the “event” happen which someone else could easily say. I’d also focus more on Mary Jane’s drug addiction and marital issues and less on the daughters whiney “nobody loves me I’m so misunderstood” and more on her two relationships.

So...anyone else sign up for the Jagged Little Pill fan pre-sale and know around when we're supposed to get the code to get tickets?
Kinda wondering that too... presale starts in an hour, but no link or code yet.

Unbelievable. Is it really that hard to send out an email in time for the presale?

I haven't gotten the code yet and it's 10:02.
Looks like you can buy them without a code on Telecharge, but only $299-399 seats are showing.

I hope they do some promotional preview discount offer

Got the code but the page isn't loading after I pick what show I want. I hate Telecharge.
Looks like the cheapest seats are $99 on the weekend/$89 during the week.

While I understand the show may have more control over this, I thought the Broadhurst had seats at $59 in the back right and left mezzanines? Really expensive lol, as is with all tickets prices these days though. Praying it gets on TDF!
Theatres have zero input in ticket prices...
The code is JPWEB27 on Telecharge Offers, in case anyone wants it.
