While I don't think he would ever be vocally right for the role of Tony, I love that he's embracing musical theater this much and think that this is a really lovely version of the song from the most perfect man on earth.
You're reminding me of people you hear at the movies asking questions every ten seconds, "Who is that? Why is that guy walking down the street? Who's that lady coming up to him? Uh-oh, why did that car go by? Why is it so dark in this theater?" - FindingNamo on strummergirl
"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor
"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl
"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott
Ugh he is so beautiful. REALLY hoping he comes back to Broadway soon. And I agree, while he doesn't have amazing vocals, he would do JUST fine if they did a little shop of horrors revival (fingers crossed after his amazing performance last summer!)
Wow - have to say I was surprised - and impressed. didn't expect that he'd have such a strong voice.
Before people jump down my throat - would love to see him in a film version of Sunset Boulevard (please without Glenn Close). Just hearing his voice and imagining with a little vocal coaching, he could be a phenomenal Joe Gillis.
The higher range is weak but he has a pretty good voice. But his face automatically makes him perfect for so many characters (what a shame that he had to drop out of Into the Woods).

yeah, he just doesn't have the range to sing it, though he did a very good job. You can definitely hear him struggling with the high notes.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I had no idea he was going to do Into The Woods. I am assuming he was going to be one of the princes? Gah that would have been amazing.
he was cast as Cinderella's Prince with Chris Pine as Rapunzel's. he then had to unfortunately pull out due to some scheduling conflict with shooting some other movie. Chris got bumped up and Billy Magnusson was cast to replace him.

He has a nice voice, but it's pretty wobbly in pitch and phrasing here, guys. He could be great, though, if he took some lessons and worked on it. He already has the foundation and the range, which is the stuff you can't learn.
