Does anyone know if he left the show? I heard yesterday was his last show and Rob Sapp was taking over. Anyone have any concrete info?

I haven't heard anything, but I'm kinda glad he's leaving, I didn't enjoy his Boq. He wasn't nice and caring enough, he played him sarcastically and with an evil vibe, he wasn't likeable. But, this is just my opinion, feel free to disagree.
I heard Rob Sapp was decent.

Posted: 10/10/05 at 10:39amSaw Rob Sapp in January. He left alot to be desired, not to mention his voice was especially bad that night. Good looking guy though. Let's hope he improved, because he was probably my least favorite moments of the show.

Posted: 10/10/05 at 10:58amI also heard that Sapp wasn't that good. Someone I know saw him in January, or coughheardbough him. I believe he went on the 9th, Idina's "last" day as well.

Posted: 10/10/05 at 12:19pmHe did go on for Idina's "last" performance, if you mean the Friday before she got hurt. I was there, and he was definitely Boq. Not fantastic, but not horrible either.

Sapp was just alright. I saw him Idina's last week too. But you have to cut him slack for being an understudy.
He wasn't as memorable as Chris.

Posted: 10/10/05 at 2:01pmAw, he left? I've seen Chris, Randy, and Jeff. Jeff actually twice. Even though I think Chris did it better, Jeff really is very good.

I wasn't a big fan of Jeffrey...he was extremely annoying in March when I saw Wicked, but he improved a lot by the time I saw him in July. He tuned it down a little bit (thank God). I'm excited for Robb

I've seen Robb as well...except of four different Boqs I've seen I think he is second only to the original.
Robb has that sweet innocence necessary to carry the role off well. Not to mention he's a subtle actor who knows how to add some different nuance to the role (something that has been missing greatly from every replacement that show has seen).

Posted: 10/10/05 at 5:03pmI haven't see any of these people perform but I've seen Wicked on tour. The guy played Boq like a mean-spirited sore loser (for some reason). While it may not be a challenging role, I think that it's easy for people to not be able to nail this role correctly.
