Sources have told me that Jordan Fisher has been offered the role of Daniel in Broadway's Once On This Island, again, as he initially turned down the role when they were first casting the show. This comes as no surprise to some as Jordan has been a vocal fan of the show, and this production in particular. No word on whether or not he has accepted the role.

Fisher was offered the role during initial casting but turned it down, which isn't surprising given it's a small role. It would be a welcome surprise if he changed his mind and joined the company.

No. I think it's been proven that just because an actor/actress was in Hamilton they aren't going to boost ticket sales on that alone. Also, he's not a household name so he likely will go unnoticed by ticket buyers.

I doubt that he would make a difference- if he does its more from Dancing with the Stars than Hamilton. Either way, I seriously hope this would be true. I would have to see the show for a 5th time.

I sadly don't think so. I love him and I love this production (one of my favorites in a long long time) AND I think he would be wonderful in it.... but it grieves me to say that I don't think much of anything other then a BIG name in a stunt casting could save it from closing by or before New Years now. A total shame because it's a fantastic production. He is on the same level of "famous" as Alex is and he's already in the show and not filling any seats so I couldn't see Fisher giving it much more of a boost from where it is now.

Not that I think he'd save the show from closing but a lot of you are forgetting that he's a popstar with a huge following of young girls. He was a name long before Hamilton/DWTS. So I think he'd definitely bring in some people, but yeah no not big enough to save the show.

Jennifer Hudson is too busy being a professional judge on The Voice US and UK.
