Josefina is a SOLID performer...

nothing amazing but very strong, consistent, and reliable. in my opinion.

I enjoyed her very much!

She's so beautiful and has such a great voice. Her acting needs a little work, but I hope she doesn't disappear from Broadway.

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Scaglione's mom when I saw WSS in Washington, DC, and she seemed to be a lovely woman as well. She spoke little English, and I conversed with her in my crappy Spanish about her daughter and about being mothers in general. Although she said Josefina had been acting since she was quite young--and mentioned sewing numerous costumes for her over the years--this was the first time she'd seen her play Maria and she had tears in her eyes by play's end. It took all the Spanish I could muster to explain the Tony award and why I thought her daughter might get one in New York! I'll have my fingers crossed for her...

Choreographer/Director/Dancer Graciela Daniele is from Argentina. I guess you can say she was once an 'actress' -- she was the original Hunyak in the original 1975 Broadway production of CHICAGO.

Honestly Clumsy, she was just ok, but the role of Amber is not really a great role, in my opinion. The Tracies and the Pennies will always get more attention in Hairspray.
