Is Scott Rudin producing All My Sons?

Re: & Juliet Closing in January

Rudin isn't producing All My Sons. In an article about Small Mouth Sounds/Downstate, it was mentioned that Rudin has a third show coming to Broadway this season (starring Metcalf) that would be announced at a later date. I'm assuming whatever that is will be moving into the Sondheim.

He's apparently also producing a 42nd Street revival as well...with SJP and Oscar Isaac. At this point, come next year's TONY Awards, I would not be surprised if he showed his face to accept.

The London cast recording got me through the pandemic with its warmth and nostaglia. The minute the Broadway transfer got announced, I bought a ticket for first preview. Getting to see the show after having held on to it so tightly during the pandemic was a really special moment. This show has so much heart and joy, and I will miss it so much. It's had a fabulous run and I'm definitely going to pop in a few more times between now and closing (I got my ticket for closing the minute I saw this morning). '

Thanks for teaching us how to roar, &Juliet. <3

Same here - it was one of the first shows I saw in London as theatres began to reopen in 2021 and was so anticipated by my friend group to land here on Broadway. I saw it three times on Broadway because different friends visiting would want to go - looking back at that time, I appreciate the entire mini-wave of West End musicals that ushered me through the pandemic: &Juliet, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, and Six. It was such a specific feeling period of time for theatre.

Re: & Juliet Closing in January

The show has a pretty good book with an interesting premise. Much better than most lazy jukebox musicals. I hope future creatives learn from the success it had. That's one of the reasons it succeeded while kind of dumb film adaptations like Death Becomes Her or Mrs. Doubtfire failed.

Edit: And why we don't need things like Devil Wears Prada!

There will never be another Karl Martin Sandberg. Nobody deserves this run more than him.

He’s produced some of the biggest hits of the decade across albums for Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and The Weeknd so I wouldn’t say he’s lost his touch at all as his touch is purely commercial.

Just heard a revival of The Odd Couple starring Stephen Colbert is headed to the Sondheim
