Many cast members of shows have taken a day off this Fall and then are on again the next day. That isn't Covid or the flu.

Saw this for a third time tonight. At the first preview, I couldn’t believe how incredible Clark was, so the fact she’s even BETTER now is a bit unreal. She’s just remarkable.

tough break that covid is impacting the cast this week, have to imagine it was too close for them to move opening night etc...wonder if certain press members are being asked to come back post opening when people are back in the show etc

I have no idea what youre talking about but it certainly would be odd if, in the middle of press previews before opening (a show that desperately needs rave reviews), some of the cast members of this tiny ensemble decided to "take a day off" even if it is the Fall where, apparently, "cast members are taking days off and then going on again the next day." If these actors are out, theyre sick.

In addition to language Kimberly's criminal Aunt (a wonderful Bonnie Muiligan) offers a sex act on an underage boy for $20. Not sure if that would be inappropriate for some kids..

I'll be at the matinee this Saturday. Loved the show at the Atlantic and saw it in early previews. Victoria Clark is a gem.

Now that the show is open, any word if they will be joining the Red Bucket brigade? Would not mind a signed poster from this cast...

they have to have everyone in the building at one time to sign things for starters...

I have a hard time believing this to be true - I’ve seen videos and pictures of (lead) actors doing huge stacks at a time, sometimes by themselves.
Unless there’s some rule that everyone needs to be in the same room at the same time signing these things all in one sitting, in which case I’m happy to be corrected.

And they wouldnt wait until the last minute to prepare, either.
And you're right, each person gets a stack and they rotate the stacks.

Most often shows will have a “signing pizza party” at the start of collecting. It’s typically in the biggest area of FOH and stacks of posters are passed around to kind of “load the arsenal”. If an actor isn’t present then the posters are sent to their room. After that, stacks of posters/playbills are passed around the dressing rooms with a check list so everyone knows which ones they have or haven’t signed. None of this is mandatory btw and by no means do all actors need to be in the building together in order to sign.
