I really don't think she'll be returning to WSS but I do look forward to her upcoming album and whatever project she does in the future. I'm sorry this happened to her, but maybe, as she herself has said, it was a blessing in disguise.

Me neither, erinrebecca. I have a feeling that's an easier gig to keep with a broken foot than West Side Story, however, especially since the last thing we know about her character is that she will take Will out for dinner. A dinner scene (or even a bedroom scene) might be harmless for her to shoot.

Posted: 5/13/10 at 2:59pmI do wish Karen a speedy recovery. I'm a little surprised to hear (in a good way) that she will be back in a show that requires heavy dancing in six weeks. I remember a few years ago, my mom broke her foot and even after everything was all said and done and she was not in need of crutches or a cast, she still felt some pain here and there when she walked which eventually went away on its own.

My guess would be that even though it's a sure thing, the replacement contract is probably still being negotiated and hasn't been signed yet.

Well, if it's 6 or so weeks, and she was supposed to be leaving sometime in June, is it possible she just won't come back at all?
I hope she comes back, even just so she gets some closure. Well, if she does return, I'll be there to support her!
On a side note, for all of you haters who are posting stupid comments about the situation, I didn't create the thread for that, I created it to be informative to fans of Karen. Have a little respect!
