There is no "a" in definitely.
Or indefinitely, for that matter.
Breaking your foot sucks.
It's true. It's on her facebook. I wonder how many people will think it's "fake" like last summer's illness?
Damn! Damn! Damn! Damn! Damn! Damn! Damn! Damn! Damn! Damn! Damn!
I'm seeing WSS in a week & a half.
Glad I got to see her in this show twice, best wishes to a lovely and talented woman!
Thanks for the spelling lesson. I'm having an off day.
hope she has a quick and speedy recovery. how did it happen?

Poor Karen. I hope she heals quickly.

Probably NONE, 'cause people actually witnessed her breaking her foot! Last summer was different...people saw her canoodling with her husband around the city when she was allegedly out sick with, what was it, bronchitis?
Wow, I wish her a speedy recovery!!
Talk about unfortunate.

I ran into Mandy Gonzalez after a Karen-less wss performance, and she said it was LARYNgitis.
how many "sicknesses" did she have last summer?
Hope she feels better!
Terrible. I hope she recovers quickly.
If it makes any of you ticket-holders feel better, Natalie Cortez is excellent (though she's no Karen).

You're right about that... Natalie is no Karen. Natalie is about 10 times better than Karen and is actually right for the part.

Well, I'll disagree. Look, I thought Natalie was EXCELLENT. I really liked her. A lot. She's a better dancer than Olivo (I don't think anyone will debate that), just as good a singer, but Olivo is a better actress.
As much as I enjoyed them both, if you hold a gun to my head, I'm picking Olivo.

Olivo is a better actress? Not in my book. Olivo only comes across as angry, at least as of late. Her humor is non existent and instead of sassy her "jokes" come off as bitter and angry for no reason. Natalie is a joy to watch and people are very lucky to see her.
But that's just my opinion. No one has to agree with me.

You guys are aware that loosing one's voice like Olivo did last year is not going to impact their mobility right? I mean if Olivo was out because of laryngitis then it is only going to prevent her from singing/performing. Not from really walking around and doing things.
Now, should she be seen walking around the streets of NYC without a cast and crutches then it would be a bit odd and hard to believe her.
Furthermore, as far as the whole debate between Olivo and Cortez, I will only say that I don't think that Olivio is the only Anita to win a Tony for nothing.
I think Natalie is a stunning Anita. You are lucky to be seeing her.
Cortez cannot touch Karen in the role. She is a fine standby. Her acting AND singing are weaker than Olivo's, in my opinion. Her act 2 scenes barely had any impact.
But this is such a pointless argument, people will hate Olivo regardless.
I don't hate Karen, I just prefer Natalie. Natalie is a far superior dancer and Anita is a role for a dancer, for those of you hating on her acting and singing.
Of course she is a superior dancer. But it is a complete and utter joke to have a dancer like Natalie performing the SIMPLIFIED choreography. It's a total waste of her skills.

Can't we all just wish Karen a speedy recovery and hope that Natalie makes the most of this opportunity without turning this into yet another Karen Olivo bitch out session?
^ Good idea. I hope she recovers quickly, and is back in the show soon!
