Quite a role for her, considering the scandal with her clothing line.
So which orphan will Cody play?

Cody is her son. I think you meant to say "which role will Cassidy play?" That's her daughter.
You should have known this!

haha calvin to funny. Prob. he will pop up in the whooville ensemble or maybe he will be Sandy. I actually think she will do well
Whooville? Wrong show -- THAT'S "How the Grinch Stole Christmas".
I'm sure YOU meant to say: The Hoovervill-ites.
Woof!
This is almost as good as her turn in that TV movie where she was a crack-head.
Bob Saget had a better turn as a crackhead, in...ummm...whatever that pot-smoking movie with Dave Chappelle and Goat Boy from SNL was called.
I'm bad with names this morning. First Kathie Lee's daughter, and now this.
I wonder if there are any lines she won't want to say because of her faith.
I think the tour has gotten good reviews, but I think I'll skip this just for this particular venue alone. If it were to play in a Broadway house, I would probably go and see it.
MB, I didn't realize she had the Kirk Cameron disease. Perhaps the role will be re-written as a loving guardian.
My parents saw the tour and enjoyed it -- even though they hate Annie, in general.
eta: Me too, Dottie. And it's not just the venue, but the type of audience this will likely attract that will counter my curiosity.

I'm kind of interested to see Kathie Lee as Hannigan, but I will likely skip it too...because of the venue.
The venue is terrible, but frankly, I'm glad that the tours of ANNIE and PETER PAN went to MSG, because I would really rather see the actual Broadway revivals be a little more imaginative.
umm gross? She still gives me the hebbie-gebbies after all these years.

I think the funniest Kathie Lee story -- and she told it herself -- involved her stint in PUTTING IT TOGETHER. As a part of the show, she was to sing "Could I Leave You?" and had a very tough time --because of her faith, she said -- singing the lyric "Just wait a goddamn minute!"
She asked Sondheim for a possible alternate. The problem was making the lyric still scan right and mean the same thing -- he first suggested replacing the offending word with "bloody." But having a New York matron sing a British-ism like "Just wait a bloody minute!" didn't make sense. Then he struck upon the obvious ... could she say "Just wait a f***ing minute"?
The f-bomb apparently aligned with her faith, and that's what she sang the nights she went on in the show.
I feel bad for the Actress who did the tour.
She gets the shaft in the City.
sorry brody...i forgot that kathie lee would be a good ms. mayor haha.
Ugh...
Kathie Lee at the theatre at MSG?
Great...4000 kids and old people.

Ugh, couldn't pay me to sit through this. It does suck for the actress who was playing the role on tour. I wonder if she'll get bumped to understudy?
I will be seeing this now. I love to laugh at Kath...
this has the potential to be the camp-fest of the winter season -- right up there with barneys windows and harvey as The Heat Miser. color me there.
Exactly, Garland.
They might as well have cast Lypsinkia as Faye Dunawaye as Joan Crawford. I am THERE.
Do you think it will surpass her perfomances in "Mother Goose: A Rappin' and Rhymin' Special" or "Kathie Lee's Rock n' Tots Cafe: A Christmas 'Giff'"?

The day that happens, I am cashing in my savings and flying to NYC to see it.
Oh, Kitz, the day THAT happens, I am whoring myself out on the street for an entire year to save up enough money to move the show to Broadway.
I kinda feel bad for Alene Robetson but on the other hand she has been doing the role for sooo long that it's nice to hear someone else is doing it. Plus I don't really like Alene Robertson because of this show. I agree about the venue. I saw Peter Pan there last year and wasn't overly enthused with the experience. Still I wish the show the best of luck because Annie is a great show.

I'll be watching for freebies. MSG Theatre has seating for 5,600. That cavern of a theater will be half empty every night.
