I was supposed to go to The View today! My friend had tickets and couldn't go and was going to pass the tickets to me, but it didn't work out because of how The View distributes out-of-state vs. tri-state area tickets. Unfortunate; it would have been nice to see that! Granted, I had a midterm paper to write and another in a few hours, so it would have been a bad choice. But whatever.
Who else was on? The guests weren't listed on the official page.

Posted: 3/7/07 at 1:31pmThe randomness was having Kelsey sing that particular song. If I had seen that before I knew that she didn't sing the song in the show I would have been even more appalled. It made it seem that that was one of her numbers in the show, they even put up that she was "starring" in Grey Gardens, which would leave one who was unfamiliar with the show to think it was the new Annie or Secret Grey Garden, perhaps. Oh, and she did mess up the start (not coming down too hard, she is a kid and those things happen) but she was not "great".

Yeah, I was also confused because it's really not an accurate representation of the show. However now that I know it's for that segment it makes alot more sense.

I have to say, that I've seen the show twice, a couple of months apart. The first time, I thought she was wonderful, good singer, natural actress...
by the second time, she had become a SHOW KID. Mugging, BIG, hamming it up. Very disappointing.

Posted: 3/7/07 at 1:55pmI heard she originally wanted to sing "Jerry Likes My Corn" but the producers weren't having any of it. It being the song, not the corn. The corn itself is allegedly delicious.
