The personal attacks are so boring - to try and continue a real discussion. theatrefan4, to your hope that this could cause fear in the political opposition to take action (e.g. gun control), I think if you look into what the right are doing right now it appears they are extremely triggered, with many declaring war and seeking revenge. So I expect that this will have the exact opposite counterproductive effect. I don't think terrorism will ever work. Does it ever?

I think it's more about difficulty wrapping one's head around the expectation that people who always oppose gun violence are now meant to martyrize and weep for the gun death of an authoritarian white supremacist who found gun deaths to be acceptable, while ignoring as usual that children were shot yesterday as well.
