How true! How true! The poor woman's been struggling with two Tony Awards, above-the-title billing in her last show and sold out concerts across the USA. Patti LuPone really needs a boost to her career.

Ms LuPone is wrong for Dolly. Dolly is not a role for a belter. Given her awful performance in the Sondheim concert on PBS, she will turn Herman's lyrics into mush. In The Matchmaker, the script says Horace is 60 and Dolly is of an uncertain age. If some producers are foolish enough you sink money in a production starring Ms LuPone, what older actor will they cast as Horace?

If there's a rumor going around that somebody is in talks for a project, and that rumor is confirmed, it's official that they are in talks. Why is that giving a certain segment a case of the fits?
