I know it only recently started performances, but I was wondering if anyone here had done rush for La Bete. According to Telecharge, they have (I believe) $27 tickets, 2 per person. Is it when the box office opens or two hours prior to curtain?

My daughter tried it last Friday (10/1), and there were no rush tickets available. I believe she was there late afternoon, around 5PM or so. None of the rushes were available, but we got lottery tickets for N2N.

The rush seats are the boxes, 2 per person (General Rush!!!!) when the box office opens.

The guy at the box office told me they only offer the tickets when the box office opens. Even if they don't sell out of them, they stop selling them after they open.

Anyone know how the view is from the boxes in that theater?

Thanks so much, everyone! And I, too, am curious as to what the view from the boxes is like.

A friend and I bought rush tickets on Saturday right after losing BBAJ lotto, a little after 7:00, and ended up in the left box. The view was perfect - the usher told us that we could move our chairs over, closer to the edge of the box, and the only thing I couldn't see was when Mark Rylance was against the wall on stage right.

I also ended up in the left box. My view was fantastic, but I was in seat 1 (basically the seat closest to the stage) I am not sure if the people behind me had trouble seeing or if the person next to me did, but my seat was great. As littlebutterfly said, the only thing I missed was anything happening right up against the stage right wall, which really wasn't anything.

How much does the rush cost, and is it cash only? :)

I went there on Flea Market day. THe guy told me that the rush was sold out within 5 minutes (I had went there after losing BBAJ around 1:30).

I did read it was cash only though.

I think I was the first person to buy on flea market day. It wasn't busy at all, so it kind of surprises me that he said it was sold out so quickly. I too paid with a card.

Has anyone tried rush recently? I'm thinking about trying either tomorrow or the Wday matinee.

It opens at 10 am, right?

Did it on Sunday. No one else showed up until 45 minutes before the box office opens. My seat was in the left box. Not a bad seat at all. However, you miss Joanna Lumley's entrance. I'd say you're totally fine getting there at 9.

Does anyone know how high the stage is at the Music Box? I know this is unrelated to the topic, but I didn't really want to start a new thread just for it.

If I wanted to get tickets to the evening performance tomorrow is it the same deal? Just get there in the morning or they sell those at a different time?
