all the frivolity out of Turkey Lurkey Time.
She'll never play Fanny Brice, never!

please, Dear God, tell me they didn't attempt the Bennett choreography!!!
They didn't. But they DID try to make it a mashup by combining Turkey Lurkey Time with Let's Have a Kiki... performed by Sarah Jessica Parker. Oy.
The mashup was terrible, but the idea to do it was like, spawned from some sort of evil genius. Too bad it didn't work.

Please, whatever you haters say will never stop Lea Michele from being one of the most talented people on the planet.
Who cares how bad it was. We got to see Dean :) .
Musically, it should have worked. And the idea was brillz.
The execution was nightmarish.

Lea is not talented if she can't make Turkey Lurkey work. You can't screw that song up. The humor is written in the song.
So she can blow *and* suck? She's so talented.
I don't watch Glee so I may be missing a joke...but I really hope they didn't perform, Turkey Lurkey Time! That is one of the worst songs ever...
It was maybe a few verses, "Let's Have a Kiki" was front and center, even incorporated (although stiltedly, SJP did her best) the opening phone call chat.
The number itself. I don't know. It seemed to be in a "Run, Joey, Run" level of conscious ridiculousness like "Gangnam Style". I was just happy to see Shangela.
It was unclear about the level of sobriety of the three characters in the apartment but I figured Rachel would drunkenly break out into "Turkey Lurkey Time" to call attention to herself. Should have saved it for a Christmas number with Brittany doing the Bennett choreography.
I'm with Robbie, I also thought it was a brillz combo. Drag queens and SJP should have been a winning ticket.
Flog me if you must! I loved it. :)

Agreed. I think this just shows my extreme love/hate for Ryan Murphy--when watching I said outloud, in my best Joey Lawrence in Blossom voice, "Woah". I wish Glee would do more bizarre moments like that.

Dear God! This wasn't a performance of Turkey Lurkey. It was thrown in in the middle of Let's Have A Kiki. Just seeing the clip, I thought it was quite fun.
Hmm, I haven't watched Glee in a long time. That was not what I expected. I thought it would be more like the Turkey Lurkey Time in the movie Camp: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HMRZrVF2eU
