I can't believe I'm seeing "At the Ballet" and "Follow Your Heart." I actually really like "We're Okay!"
Anyways, my 4 favorite musicals and my least favorite songs.
A Little Night Music- "You Must Meet My Wife"
Oklahoma- "Poor Jud is Daid" But only because sometimes I pass over it when listening to it.
Carousel- Seriously can not think of one! But honestly I perfer a lot of the other songs to "You'll Never Walk Alone".
Company- "Sorry/Grateful"
Mary Poppins - "Temper, Temper" and "Let's Go Fly A Kite"
The King And I - "A Puzzlement"
Sunday In The Park With George - "The Day Off"
Sunset Blvd - "Every Movies A Circus"
Chicago - "Mister Cellophane (I think it's great in the show, just boring when listening to it)
Mary P x
PRIMA DONNA from PHANTOM OF THE OPERA gets old... Even though I adore Carlotta.

I also dislike
Everybodys got the right (Opening) - Assassins
Purpose-Avenue Q
Like Zis/Like Zat - DRS
My Child Will Forgive Me and Summation and Cake Walk - Parade
Spread A Little Sunshine - Pippin
All for one - Spamalot
Schroder- YAGMCB
Sugar or Green Green Dress - Tick Tick Boom
"Little Lamb" from Gypsy. It's the only song I skip over in Gypsy. Not that it's a bad song, just not my favorite in the musical.
"Little Bit of Good" in CHICAGO. I was actually thankful when they cut it (and the whole drag concept) out of the movie.
TT
'Something' in The Witches of Eastwick. I assumed that the song was a joke but it always fell rather flat, appearing to be just another pretty song. At least it's a lot shorter now...
'Little People/Castle on a Cloud' from Les Mis. I just don't like children singing.
'One more kiss' from Follies. I understand why it's in the show and I wouldn't want it cut, but it's just not my kind of song and I almost always skip the track.

I hate the underwear song in Q.
I cringed all six times. But, it is my favorite show of all time.
GO FIGURE. I love every other song.

" Something Bad", " Sentimental Man" - wicked
" Mrs. Baltimore Crabs"- hairspray
" today for you/ santa fe"- rent
munk! Ballad of Guiteau and One More Kiss? I can kida see One More Kiss, as I think the best version is on the British Diana Rigg/Julia Mackenzie version--truly ghostly.
Here I go:
Company: Sorry-Grateful
Ragtime: Gliding--whoever mentioned that one was dead-on.
Sweeney: Green Finch and Linnet Bird
Charity: Too Many Tomorrows
OMG, "Green Finch and Linnet Bird" is your least favorite song in Sweeney Todd? That's one of my favorites! I'd never list that as my least favorite from Sweeney Todd!
Um ... I would have to say Popular from Wicked...
Goodnight, My Someone - Music Man

lildogs, could you help me pull this carving knife from out my back?
Assassins: "How I Saved Roosevelt" and "The Balland of Czolgosz"
Cabaret: "It Couldn't Please Me More" and "Married"
Company: "Someone Is Waiting"
Into the Woods: "I Guess This Is Goodbye" and "It Takes Two"
Sweeney Todd: "The Contest"
Not to fond of OKLAHOMA? in DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS now that I think about it... But IMO, it doesn't take away from the whole wonderfulaweseomeness that is the show... and it IS funny in context.
I used to hate "Agony" until I saw Greg Edelmann and Chris Seiber do it in the revival. They made it so funny, that I would have been perfectly content to skip the rest of Into the Woods and let those two just do standup.
Although it is entertaining sometimes, A Little Bit of Good from Chicago isn't an especially great song.
One More Kiss bores me to death (from Follies).
Not a huge fan of Blow High, Blow Low from Carousel, although it's not unbearable. It feels as if it was thrown in to showcase the male DeMille dancers.
Actually, the other 2 in my top five- South Pacific and Light in the Piazza include no songs I wouldn't mind deleting.
I have lots of favourite musicals.
I think we're looking at
RENT - 'Contact'
The Last Five Years - 'A Part Of That' (although as I adore the entire show, that was *hard* to pick out ;_; )
Les Miserables - 'A Heart Full Of Love' (again, really hard to pick one out ;_; )
bschneid76: I loathe "Little Lamb". It's sad that that's basically Louise/Gypsy's only solo.
The Last 5 Years- Climbing Uphill, it just plain bugs me.
Les Miserables- In My Life, I didn't like it prior to the musical of the same name, but now it just makes it worse.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels- Ruffhousin' Mit Shuffhausen, while it's HYSTERICAL during the show, I always skip it on the cast recording.
Aida- The Gods Love Nubia. Gah.
tick, tick...BOOM!- Sugar, it's just kind of pointless...

Sentimental Man - Wicked
And I know I'm going to get a load for this one, but...
The Internet is for Porn- Avenue Q.
I dunno. It's funny, I guess, I just don't like it.
