Talked to someone at the show about it. They were going to perform What You Want and Bend and Snap, but the performance was called off supposedly because What You Want and Bend and Snap are midly athletic performances and whatnot with the rain and bad weather, they didn't want to risk any injuries or illnesses two days before opening.

The impression I got is that it would be rescheduled after the show opens, but I'm not positive of course.

I feel like they should have done another song. It was right in the middle (Bruiser's entrance) where they started...I mean they did good...but.....

What was that about? Granted I haven't seen the show but this performance was underwhelming to say the least! There was no climax in the song, no energy and the choreography, poor Jerry Mitchell. I adore the man usually but really...

I thought they did pretty well. I didn't really hear the audience laugh much, but I thought it showed off the show in a good light. It might have done better to show some guys in the show though, so they could appeal to a wider audience, but I guess the View's audience is primarily women.

Is it absolutely certain that the Legally Blonde performance will be on June 5? The Today Concert Series website says they are performing on Wednesday, June 13. I really hope it is next Tuesday, since I will be there on vacation.

They were to perform on June 5th I think and then the TODAY show decided to do something in CUBA about castro's health so it was moved to the 13th. hope it doesn't rain.

in regards to the view performance:

I wasn't the biggest fan either. Laura Bell was cute, but the number was kinda flat. I would have preffered to see "What You Want".

I assume you're talking about The Pirate Queen performance? They performed at the VERY end. Judging by this performance, I can tell why the show got such awful reviews (although the dancing at the end was good).

Although I don't wish any musical ill will... well... I honestly can't see L.B. as a viable Broadway show. What will "they" think of next... musicals based on vampires?
