Ursula: Roz Ryan or Judy Kaye
Seth Rudetsky just mentioned on Sirius that he was auditioning for the part of one of the eels...hehehe.
Can't wait to see this. I just reserved a block of 30 seats for it here in Denver.
whoa! that must have cost you an arm and a leg to get that many seats.
I Vote Kerry to be Ariel because I love her, I think she's a great actress and definately a beautiful singer. Celia is another choice I had in mind, though I think she's incredibly talented, i'm pulling for Kerry.

Ashley Brown if she leaves Poppins, but since that won't happen, I vote for Katie Clarke!

what about megan mcginnis (original beth in little women) or the main girl from wedding singer?
Anyone know where said audition notice is? I'd love to see how they're casting roles like Flounder and Sebastian.

"Patti would be a perfect Ursula, however I doubt she would ever perform in a Disney musical. Just seems like something she is above to me."
NO ONE is above a Disney musical! Disney IS the best of Broadway! There are no better shows than the Disney shows

Jessica Lee Goldyn or Alisan Porter from A Chorus Line would be awesome Ariels. I say Harvey as Ursula DEFINETELY!

I also like Mara Davi for Ariel.
HAHAHA Rosie as Ursula is genius!
Tina Maddigan for President...I mean Ariel! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Mikeyb16....I just have them reserved. No prices or dates are set yet. I get them and then I offer them out and people pay for them. I don't have to pay upfront. But they have to be paid for in a certain timeframe.

Mara Davi would do wonders to those songs.
Harvey as Ursula would be funny, but it would be better with someone who could sing the hell out of those songs.
Like Beth Leavel in a fat suit.
Mara would be good (saw ACL in San Francisco).
But Rosie? No the woman cannot sing. She would butcher "Poor Unfortunate Souls" and not in a funny character-voiced way.

I don't know if anyone said this already, but I had an epiphany.
Mary Testa as Ursula.
what about coleen sexton as ariel.. is she a bit too old for the part.. she looks young to me.. sounds like a suped up jodie benson or paige o'hara

There's only one choice for Ursula:
the devine
EMILY SKINNER
she came into it after Eder left.. so i want to say 1999 or 2000.. they recorded that tv special in 2001... i think ... omg she is really really young.. what a voice!! love her!
btw emily skinner sounds great on the demo.. but i would love to hear a heartier voice..a touch more evil...but i love me some emily skinner!! :)
