Thinking about heading to London for Christmas (if things are safe to do so) and noticing not that much announced yet. Any rumors of what might be on stage at National Theatre? I see SPRING AWAKENING was announced at Almedia so that sparks joy
Any other Major productions that have yet to announce?
I did purchase tickets to Donmar's FORCE MAJEURE
The National Theatre's The Ocean at the End of the Lane will be playing the Duke of York from October.
In December I’m most excited for “Cabaret” with Eddie Redmayne. I already have tix for “Ocean at the End of the Lane”, “Moulin Rouge”, The Drifters Girl” (Beverly Knight is one of the UK theatres greatest voices), “Life of Pi” and “Get Up” (the Bob Marley musical). Over the next couple months l, I’m sure some big shows will be announced and probably a few Pantos with some pretty big names, I’d imagine.

Will Cinderella make it to the holidays?
I hope so. When i went again the other night, it was “full” (socially distanced sold out) and the audience response was pretty great. I really do love that show - definitely my favorite ALW score since “Sunset Blvd”.
thank you Jordan (ah, I miss your Chris Rockwell avatar )
Caught OCEAN AT THE END OF THE LANE two years ago at NT when I was in London. Super enjoyable show.

New musical "Hex" starring Rosalie Craig will be on at the National in December, based on Sleeping Beauty.

I'll also be in London in December and I had no clue about spring awakening. Exciting!!
Jeeeeeebus those Cabaret tix went fast. I was able to snag a few but pickings are SLIM for the first few weeks.
just snagged some good seats for a Wed matinee before Christmas. I hope they are both in the show for that matinee - and those prices! Looks like food comes with it so that aint bad
Just saw this. What is proof of immunity?

I would think it means a fairly recent antibody test but it is not clear. To me anything other than the vaccine is too weak a standard.
I believe it’s proof that you had Covid within a certain amount of time.

Makes sense. But I saw yesterday that they are wanting people who have had it to get vaccinated as an extra precaution. Although, that is here, not there.
Wonder if they will do this at The Lyric and Hudson?
The current policies about proof of vaccination, etc. (which obviously may change between now and December) for Delfont Mackintosh and ATG theaters, respectively, are at:

Agree with your thoughts on & JULLIET - saw it two years ago and LOVED it. So much fun.

Long time lurker, first time commenter-- I'm from the US and have a trip planned to Paris at the end of March/beginning of April (covid permitting, obviously). I'm a huge Cabaret fan and would love to hop over and see it but it ends a few weeks before I get there. I'm more familiar with Broadway... is an extension likely on the West End? Should I give up hope entirely or keep an ear to the ground? Would ideally like to see Eddie Redmayne, and I know that the bigger the star the less likely they are to stick around for a long time, so just trying to manage my expectations.
Hi! Who knows where we will be in by March - thinking optimistically - in the meantime i'd imagine Eddie wont extend his contract. But in this wolrd - who really knows hwat is going on
