"That's odd, because I met one of the girls used for The Little Boy on Broadway in Ragtime. She talked about the wig she had to wear and everything."

ibdb.com doesn't list any girl as having played or understudied The Little Boy.

"That would be Hair's Allison Case."

She was in the original cast, but she's not on the recording. And it doesn't matter, they are all annoying and cloying in the part.

I haven't listened to the full recording yet. And usually, I'm not one to really judge lyrics, so long as they work at advancing the story. But...these are just dreadful. It seems like ALW is essentially re-inventing the story and characters. It's only a sequel in that it takes place after the initial story. I personally find the whole thing absurd.

Finally got mine today as well. There really was no point after all in pre-ordering the CD months in advance!

Bought a copy tonight. Don't like it much except Coney Island Waltz. Rest is very flat and dull. And the levels are all over the place. Keep having to turn it up and down.

It's Kate Wetherhead on the recording.

Yes, I agree Roger246. I just received my CD from London today. The preorder in October 2009 was unecessary. My friends didn't preorder their albums yet they received it before me and paid less.
