Yeah, probably. Maybe just because i've had a little more free time lately so I expect every five seconds for there to be a new post.
Well, I thought it was a little thread that could at first. The first time I saw it I thought "Oh my god, this is SO my topic!" but I thought it was gonna be one of those lively threads for like a couple days but then it starts to die out, and before you know it, it's like on page 12.

Posted: 8/22/06 at 10:59pmAnd now it's on page 52. Hahaha. I'm so proud of this thread, you have no idea. I was just so sick of people bitching about the show all over the place, I figured it needed a thread for everyone who loves it to get together and talk!

Haha, you should be awarded somehow. It's like you're the Michael Bennett of TWS threads.
The message board was a dark and unhappy place for TWS before this thread....
and then you came along....and created some sort of sanctuary for TWS lovers to relate to.
and now it's become this huge sensation.
Congratulations.

I'm here, I'm just tired so I don't have much to say. I stopped by the theatre before seeing Spelling Bee. The understudy board was crazy:
Tina=Julia
Cara=Holly
Joberg=Sammy
Kevin Kern=Joberg's roles
Joanne Manning=Donatella
Tracee=Crystal
(Tracee isn't back in the playbills yet because of her vacation)

That's all.

First of all, opiv...your avatar...is now being printed to put onto my TWS collage on my wall. Thanks for allowing me to see it.
Second of all, I think TWS is gonna become a tad bit notorious for their ability to never have a full cast at the same time.
Those are rare occasions.

Modesty is totally the answer, what're you talking about? Haha.
WOW! Way for it to be a bit of an understudy night, eh? Tina is on the board regularly because she isn't in the Playbill as Julia yet, either. I knew Joberg was on for Sammy this entire week, which would mean Kevin for Joberg's tracks. But I didn't know Amy was going to be out.

If THIS week happened to be Stephen or Richard's vacation weeks, that would have been even more insane.
When's Rita gonna have a vacation? She deserves it more than this young and kicking cast. She's an old woman. She needs rest. She's the original Luisa, people! That should be enough already! She's legend. (to me at least)

Posted: 8/22/06 at 11:30pmI'm game for Rita to go on vacation, because that means Christina Sivrich would be Grandma! Hahaha.
#1288re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.
Posted: 8/22/06 at 11:33pmHaha. That'd be hilarious. It's kind of strange though that such a young person would be going on for her though. It's not like a "10 to 15 year difference". It's like a full-fledged "40 to 50 year difference".

Posted: 8/22/06 at 11:34pmIf Christina went on as Rosie, would Rosie and George need to run behind the curtain before doing the worm, or could they do it right away?
#1290re: Love is what we do! - THE WEDDING SINGER appreciation thread.
Posted: 8/22/06 at 11:36pmThey'd still have to go behind the curtain. They have their "dancing selves" waiting back there.

If Stephen and Richard were on vacation they would be totally screwed!
Kern would be on as Robbie and Matthew Stocke would be Glen. Then they would need to have swings on in Joberg's track and Stocke's track. But there are only 2 male swings. (Plus Kevin and Stocke understudy the same two roles so there would be no way to figure this out, unless they put Andy Karl in a little early).
Ok, the fact that I figured it out is sad, but I can't go to sleep and have nothing better to do.

Posted: 8/22/06 at 11:39pmHaha, no it's all good. I was doing that myself right now! I think we basically came up with the same list.

Kevin!Robbie, Stocke!Glen, Joberg!Sammy... they'd probably put Andy in early and have Michael cover Stocke's normal track.
Speaking of the male swings, anyone know whatever happened to Adam Zotovich? I call him The Mystery Swing because he was a part of the show when it first started, and he's in a couple of the promo shots, but he's not there anymore.

No idea who he is.
Ooh, I just thought of another fun one. What happens if Eric is on as George and Tracee is out? Who plays Fake Tina Turner?

Posted: 8/22/06 at 11:53pmEither they'd put T. Oliver on as fake!Tina Turner and have Kern as Mr. T (lmfao oh my GOD) or just have Angelique as f!TT.

Geez. This is all so complicated. They need to hire like extra swings to hang out in the back.
But that's expensive...so let's just shift characters around. ACT I Stephen will play Robbie and ACT II he'll switch on over to Grandma or even better fake Ronald Reagan or something.

Oh my god, that'd be so funny.
And is it just me, or does the current fake Ronald Reagan (Peter, right?) look like Al Gore more than anything?
