I think Patti does give AF. She seems extremely insecure and vulnerable. Any and every thing comes out of her mouth because she can't help herself. It doesn't mean she doesn't care what others think. I think she desperately wants to be validated.

I have been a fan of Patti LuPone for many years. I have been lucky to meet her in person on a number of occasions. However, how can I be supportive of someone who I admire but lobs such mean spirited comments at two Broadway veterans? Patti is burning her bridges at a rapid pace. The right thing to do would be to apologize. If she digs in and says nothing, then she'll find herself with far fewer fans. Me included.
