Wasn't this one of the theaters Into the Woods was supposedly eyeing? Now it's gone. The Hirschfeld is booked. I guess their rumored transfer really might be dead.

Not necessarily looking forward to this but great for Valisia LeKae stepping out of swinging/ensemble roles and playing a lead. Saw her in BoM and she was great.

While I do probably think a WOODS transfer is dead. Let's not forget that the FOLLIES transfer announcement literally came out of NO WHERE.

ljay, that's not really true. The FOLLIES transfer was something that was sort of planned on since day 1.

I have a friend who did one of the (I assume) many workshops of this in the spring, I think it was. It may have been the fall. Regardless, it's actually supposed to be quite good.

Yeah, but once the tepid reviews came out, I remember myself and many others being surprised at the transfer announcement. Obviously with Bernadette's attachment, a transfer was always a possibility.

On the show's website, at the bottom of the page, there is a Shubert Org. logo next to the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre name. WTF. lol
