This is terrible news. :/ I wish her a successful battle and a speedy recovery. (She seems to be doing better, based off the blog entry, so that's good to hear!)

That is awful to hear. I never imagined that there was anything like this distracting her during Zorba. As Elfuhbuh said, it seems like she's on her way to a full recovery which is wonderful news.

Sending her love, and sending to Jason too.
How amazing that she performed this while dealing with ovarian cancer treatments.

Someone mentioned this to me the other day and my heart absolutely sank. I've been a fan since the first time I saw her on stage in Ragtime in 1998. I've seen just about everything she's done since then.
Sending her and Jason nothing but good thoughts, energy and best wishes for a complete and speedy recovery.

So sad. An under-recognized performer. I have set up "Wunderbar" and "So In Love" from the last revival of Kiss Me, Kate to play in a loop and listened for a half hour.
Over forty years since Nixon announced the "war on cancer" ["if we can land a man on the moon in ten years then we can lick cancer in a decade" ]. Really little progress. Certain that the drug companies are in part to blame for producing drugs that will make them the most money instead of drugs not under patent protection, or other drugs that would not produce large profits.
My sister, a 2nd grade teacher and mother of two pre-teens, died of ovarian cancer four days before Gilda Radner died of the same. It was just awful. No redeeming qualities.

I've known about this for some time and am so proud of Jason and Marin for going wide with their inspiring story. They are so blessed to have each other during this challenging journey.

I'm a huge fan of both of them and am happy that she is doing so well and healing so fully. Also, glad that she is surrounded by friends and by a husband, who clearly, loves her very much. Sending positive energy and thoughts, to both, Jason and Marin, for a full and speedy recovery.

One of the reasons I was able to both social sciences and theater/dance was because I received a scholarship established by Marin and Jason. I am personally indebted to them. They are beacons of light and energy in this community. This news caused me to tear up a little.
My thoughts and prayers to them as Marin keeps fighting. They're blessed to have such amazing doctors and friends and family surrounding them. Ovarian cancer can be so devastating, so I'm happy hear Marin is doing well.

So glad to hear she's, apparently, on the road to recovery.
I know she's had major musical comedy roles like Kiss Me Kate and Spamalot, but I've only seen her more dramatic work, so it can be easy to forget how ****ing hilarious she is. In 7 short minutes she delivers three hilarious (and one very touching) backstage anecdotes from Ragtime, The World Goes Round and Passion (what a dame!):

I hope Marin feels the full support of the theater community behind her as she navigates through healing and recovery, and that Jason and her family do as well.

I read this last night and just cried and cried. I couldn't even write anything last night. My deepest thoughts are with Marin and Jason. I recently lost my cousin to stage 4 breast cancer and the thoughts never really leave you at how effing terrible...

I hope she pulls through with flying colors and continues to grace us with her talent and beauty for many, many more years to come. Prayers, love + light for Marin!

This is absolutely awful. She's probably my favorite theater actress. Hoping for a speedy recovery!
