This is absolutely awful. She's probably my favorite theater actress. Hoping for a speedy recovery!

Sending positive thoughts and prayers her way. She is such a fighter, and I know she will beat this. Her performance in ZORBA was outstanding, and now hearing this news, makes it even more incredible.
Thank you, Jason, for sharing this story with us. We love you, Marin. Get well soon.

Oh man, my prayers are with her and Jason. I just recently was watching her as Lily Garland on Youtube and was floored by her talent.

Her rendition of "Back to Before" remains one of the most thrilling musical moments I've ever experienced on Broadway. All the very best to her and her family.

I've seen every one of her performances in NY except "Next to Normal." Her "When There's No One" late in "Carrie" was a small master class in less is more, yet with full emotional throttle just beneath the surface, and it was heartbreaking, the single best moment in the production. As she proved in the Encores "Zorba," she is peerless, her vocals the highlight. May we all send a tsunami of white light her way.

I'm not having a very good day at work today. Then I read this and realized how lucky I truly am. I got to work with Marin on a project years ago, and subsequently met she and Jason on a plane several years later. Marin couldn't have been nicer to work with and...what a sense of humor! I pray for her recovery.
Yes, her performance as Lily Garland, for the Actors Fund benefit, is AMAZING!

Wishing her all the best!
What an amazing actress and singer she is...her performance as Diana in NEXT TO NORMAL is still one of my favorite theater experiences.

I have to admit I teared up a little bit while reading Jason's blog post. His devotion to her came through very strongly and it showed me that the kind of love you see in the movies actually does exist. I've never met Marin or Jason, but they both seem like genuinely wonderful people, and I'm so glad they have each other.

I was listening to a playlist while reading this post, and "Back to Before" from RAGTIME randomly played. Needless to say, it brought me to tears. All the best and hope she has a speedy recovery.

This news made me very sad. I met Jason after The Visit and he was very warm and kind, and I told him how much I loved Marin. What a strong woman and a wonderful husband supporting her.

Brava to Marin for telling her story (through her husband) -- she will save lives. We're lucky to have women like her and Krysta Rodriguez being so open and removing stigma from cancer. Ovarian cancer is no longer the death sentence it once was; I hope Marin makes a full recovery and can continue to do what she does best for years to come.

Oh no. Not Marin. Her performance of Losing My Mind at Sondheim's 80th birthday party was the best performance of any musical theatre song that I've ever seen.
I hope she recovers quickly.
