Bomer graduated from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama in 2000 then moved to New York City and worked on stage until he was cast in a small role, as Ian Kipling, on ABC TV's ALL MY CHILDREN. His stage work was not on Broadway.

I first saw him as Bryce Larkin on Chuck. But after hearing this, he should definitely do musical theater!

I heard that he was pretty sick when he did the Kennedy Honors. Might explain his voice a little...

He's pretty flat in that Kennedy Center clip. Also, not very charismatic on stage.
Not hard on the eyes, though.
