They're probably going to strike a deal with Netflix or something. Tying a streaming program to a cable package is such a weird financial move. It's like if you got free access to Breaking Bad through your water bill.

Reading between the lines, I think this will end up on Paramount+ after some exclusive period on Spectrum. CBS Studios is deeply involved in this and it makes no economic sense to keep it shackled. This strikes me as part of Spectrum gasping for air, in this case in a bizarre and nonsensical way but we shall see.

I am pretty sure that's true. Otherwise the model is just insane. I think it is basically some vain attempt at value added although the logic of it escapes me. Are there really potential cord-cutters who continue to pay for cable so they can get these "exclusives"?
It’s produced by CBS. Other Spectrum series have ended up on The CW and what Is now Paramount Plus. It will be out there after a brief period on Spectrum. FWIW, I love the show. Also FWIW, I hate Spectrum being the only provider where I live in Park Slope (I know, that alone deserves an eye roll especially if you read Park Slope message boards...OY!).
