Montego Glover Will Win The Tony

I changed my picture in her honor, I think after Brantley's prediction she is a shoe-in.
She is Broadway's newest DIVA. With her crafter performance in Memphis, it's hard to imagine this is her Broadway debut.
Not only a wonderfully gifted singer, but one of the best actresses in New York, and of course, a doll.

She could she has the worst songs to sing and she does it with professionalism and hard work boy she is the greatest threat since LaChanze did the Color Purple .

Well, no. The girl is an amazing singer, but her acting was lacking. Not horrible, but not Tony winning especially in a category with CZJ and Sherie.

Montego's "acting" was about as subtle and nuanced as a sledgehammer going through a wall. She has a nice enough voice, but her acting is awful.

And since when did Brantley predicting you to win ever guarantee anything? If that were the case, Raul Esparza would have two Tonys already.

Honestly, Montego goes give a Tony-deserving performance in MEMPHIS. The show is actually quite good, and I would love to go back. She is a great singer, and her acting is believable.

CZJ may just be there because of the famous name, but I havent seen ALNT, so I'm not going to judge. Also, I'm not a fan at all of Sherrie, so I do agree that Montego should take the tony.

CZJ is brilliant in ALNM, but not quite as impressive as Montego, especially in the acting department. CZJ looks stunning, sounds stunning and acts well enough though. Yet, I feel that it's Montego's year.
Sherrie is playing herself. But she is a great talent and I hope she wins a Tony someday for playing a role that isn't Sherrie Rene Scott.
Kate Baldwin was also perfection in Finian's and very well deserves a Tony for her performance as Sharon.
I didn't have interest in seeing Ragtime again, so I can't comment on the 5th nominee.

Scott is playing a character. That character just happens to be named "Sherie Renee Scott". Just like Heidi Blickenstaff was playing "Heidi" in [title of show]. It's not like Sherie is performing a cabaret act. And the Scott of the musical is not the same as the performer. Everyday Rapture is not Wishful Drinking or Liza's At the Palace.

Totally, and believe me, it would be more interesting and outrageous, and more emotionally powerful than Everyday Rapture is. Yet, this comes from someone who can't act, sing or dance.
But I can act as myself perfectly. =)
