Hi! Does anyone know a way to get cheaper tickets for Mpulin rouge? Discount codes or anything? IM trying to find tickets for november and the prices are insanely high!! No wonder there are so many seats available!
Yes, re-sale and "premium" seats are crazy expensive. 169 is (at least right now) likely the cheapest you'll find. MIGHT it get cheaper if the re-sellers are worried about making their money back? Maybe.

It’s crazy! U$S 360 or so for a mzznine ticket!
It’s disgusting, but this is capitalism in America. The greed is very upsetting, especially for younger theatre goers who simply can’t afford to spend $150 on the last row of the mezzanine.
I was able to use my Audience Rewards points (8,000 points) and got a discounted ticket for around $80 or something like that. That was a couple of months ago, though. Maybe check if you have any points? I had never used my points and I had 25,000 points which I was able to use to get $80 tickets for Moulin Rouge, Beetlejuice and Ain’t Too Proud. And great seats too

If you choose your dates wisely, ''Moulin Rouge!'' does sell $99 partial-view tickets in the orchestra, and $139 seats in the mezz.
Otherwise, good luck with the $29 digital lottery or $50 SRO.
It's selling well, there won't be a discount. Broadway is a want, not a need. Can't afford it? Try the lottery or save your money. That's life.

I did the $99 partial view and it t was a great seat. Only missed a few unimportant things and it was great to be so close. A lot better than I was expecting for this price at this show.

Try the ticket re-sellers right before the show. Both online and at the theatre. But beware because some of the ticket brokers in person sell fake tix. If you try the cancellation line right before the show, they sell house seats for $229 each.

I did the $99 partial view limited legroom and the seat was great. You don’t get to see much of the background from where I was but all of the main action is seen. I was extremely close to the actors on the left side or stage right. It was an amazing experience. I tried to get standing room for the matinee today but they did not offer it. The guy said that they might be able to offer me an $150 ticket so I went to window and they said $169 which was out of my price range so I went back to just kind of hanging around. Then the guy said that they could do $129. Which was still more than I wanted to pay for the location . So I just kind of waited around in the vein hopes that standing room would be offered even though he said that it would not and eventually the guy said I could have orchestra seat for $100. I was able to get into my seat right before the show started. This time I was able to see the background which is very cool and I caught a few more details that I missed the first time around. If you try to get the partial view seats, I would get to the theater early before it opens. I know that They sold out of the Partial view Thursday matinee shortly after they open for the day. By the way I am 5‘10“ and I had plenty of legroom during the first performance that was listed let limited legroom. I think someone 6 feet or even a little taller would still be fine.
A week ago I bought 2 center orch seats from Ticketmaster row P 102,103 for $199 for the Thurs matinee on Oct 3. $199 isn’t cheap but it’s not $340 either

??? i'm a 16 y/o international high school student who rarely travels to the US and when i do go to NYC, i make the effort to save up money so that i CAN afford a $150 last row mezz ticket. young theatre goers aren't the only people who struggle financially .... ????? if you wan't something that bad, work for it and save your $. it's not like you have to rush to see this show as it'll obviously be around long enough for you to save up at least $150. if $150 is an arm and a leg for you, maybe you shouldn't be seeing shows in the first place and putting that money somewhere else instead

I’m not sure of the exact seats. If I find my tickets I’ll let you know. The partial view might’ve been Row F as far over to the side as it can go. But if you get the partial view that they offer the day of the performance you can’t choose which tickets you want anyway. The second time I think I was either Q or P also all the way over to the side but the lady next to me wanted to switch seats to be on the aisle so I was one seat in that time.

Wait so was that $99 ticket the same seat that they were selling to you earlier at $169 and $129?

I was a student too who lived in NYC so I understand where you come from.... but I actually never complained about it since I always thought of Broadway as a luxury, not a necessity.
On the bright side, the minimum wage in NYC is $15/hour so another way to think about it is perhaps getting a part-time job and work at least 10 hours to get to see Moulin Rouge!
I shockingly found my Mezz Center Row L seat at $139. I snagged it immediately. I hope you have the same luck as me
I bought the $99 partial view Row K seat 21 and it was real good - don’t buy K23 or K25
