I don’t think that most people hated Bright Star, I just think it came out at a bad time
Bullets Over Broadway
If/ Then
Jekyll & Hyde (2013 revival)
ROCKY
American Psycho
Don’t think it’s particularly unloved in the context the OP is asking, but GROUNDHOG DAY was definitely a favorite of ours that season. Going back to my relative youth, RAGS and THE RINK were fantastic shows — I was crushed when they didn’t find an audience.
Amazing Grace The Musical is one of my very favorites! It did not run long, but is on my top ten favorite musicals! Finding Neverland is also a favorite!
MisterMatt, longtime fan! Thank you for your kind reply, nice to see someone else enjoyed the show (and Jan.)

Mine is the opposite. Most people LOVED Book of Mormon, but I alone HATED it!

I don't speak for "most people" but I thought it was a WTF-were-they-thinking?, piece of ****e!
One more song about you-know-what followed by one more song that was supposed to be comic and upbeat, and I myself might have thrown somebody off a train!

I absolutely loved amelie. I thought it was charming. And then I saw a high school production and loved it even more.
hmm. Bright Star
Gettin’ The Band Back Together. I thought it was hilarious and just a good time. Not everything has to be deep and serious and have a whole big meaningful ending. You can have fun at the theater too and that’s what that show was for me.

WOMEN ON THE VERGE...

Not sure about the "most people" part, but I really liked
Heathers
American Psycho
Honeymoon in Vegas

Why are so many people citing Groundhog Day here? It may have gotten lost in a strong season, but I would hardly say that "most people hated it".
The Woman in White
Love Never Dies
American Psycho
Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark (the Julie Taymor conception)
Big Fish
Bright Star
Head over Heels
Finding Neverland

Good Vibrations. It was corny and unabashedly earnest. Did they shoe horn the songs in? Yes. Do I still think about "Help Me, Rhonda" and "Caroline No"? Also, yes. Naming the characters after the songs is definitely one way to make the songs fit a jukebox musical. XD
Doctor Zhivago. I get what was bad about it. But I genuinely think the score is better than people say it is and the cast sang the hell out of it.
Did most people hate Shrek? The music is fantastic. I like If/Then less but I still liked it and I'm surprised to hear people didn't.
Love Never Dies (the Australian remount, not the original London production. That thing was an abomination.)

I looooooved American Psycho, I thought it definitely deserved a Best Musical slot and Ben Walker should definitely have been nominated.
