It seems to have disappeared from all streaming sites, including the copy purchased. Is it on Broadway HD or somewhere else?
I purchased my digital copy via VUDU, and it's still there, however, as I've emailed them about several times, they are incorrectly using the artwork from the 2012 UK concert performance. Perhaps that's why you're having trouble finding it in your library?
Interesting. I bought it on Amazon, and it’s definitely not there anymore. Couldn’t find it on Vudu either, just the Tim Minchin arena version. I guess the contracts expired or something.
When you search for it by name on VUDU, it's there (201
, albeit with the wrong cover art, but it's not available to rent or purchase, only to watch if you've already purchased it. If you purchased it through Amazon and can not find it in your library, I would contact them. Once you purchase a movie, it should always be available for you to watch even if the platform from which you purchased it has lost their rights to rent or sell it. Although, it may not be available for you to watch via other platforms. Are you sure you purchased it through Amazon?
It is listed in Vudu (with the wrong artwork) but it’s not currently for sale. I can’t find it for sale anywhere, so for whatever reason it was pulled from all platforms.

Yeah, it was pulled from all platforms, the only option now seems to be the DVD.
If that atrocious NBC Superstar has been erased from history, we might have proof of Divine Providence working throughout the universe.
But people who actually bought it and can no longer access it should get their money back.

It's worse than that. Someone asks a question that posters have tried to help them with. Joe chimes in - not in response to the question - with a self righteous, hyperbolic comment trying to trash everything that has come before him. Then he will continue to lash out with similar attitude to any comments that are posted in response to him. A real f**king a**hole.
Odd it wouldn’t be on NBC’s own Peacock streaming svc. (Same with The Wiz)

It’s on dailymotion if anyone wants to watch for Easter!
Oh, shock and horror, I posted a negative comment about a special that was received negatively by tons of Jesus Christ Superstar fans. Threads on Broadway World never but never veer from the OP's question. Outrage!
Great arguments for physical media, in real time!
^Exactly what I’ve been saying for years.
I've never trusted streaming purchases. Anything I really want, I have on Blu Ray or DVD. Plus you get all the nifty bonus features.
Not that the NBC JCS has any special features on DVD...
I wasn't foolish enough to purchase it, so I wouldn't know.
Everyone here knows they can engage in the ignore setting whenever they like, right? You might still see their post when you reply thanks to this antiquated software, but it'll save you some grief and a slight uptick in your blood pressure.

You were much nicer than this on the JCS Zone forum. Is BWW wearing you down or something?

Is it possible they took it down from all platforms because they wanted to air it again for Easter and encourage people to watch that version? Though I don't think I've seen any publicity for it if so, which I'm guessing should've started by now.
Resubmitted because I accidentally hit reply rather than quote before starting.

Possibly. The hypocrisy and "separate rules for separate people" vibe is certainly getting to me. My op here was no worse than plenty have said in reviewing a show (and been applauded for doing so), but I get this hyperbolic response, which seems more about me than what I wrote (cue people complaining about my "whining" or something).
My apologies. It would have been better to say "As someone who didn't like it, it would have been foolish of me to purchase it." And I'm guessing you know from my posts on the JCS Zone, I love Superstar as a work. I felt the NBC version was another watered down pseudo-"hard-rocking" version, and I think the work deserves a better, more adventurous approach.
That is what I was thinking Chris, but since it's less than a week away, it would have been announced already.
FYI, The Shows Must Go On is replaying the Arena Tour, starting tomorrow at 2 p.m. ET, for 48 hours.
Exciting- Tim Minchin makes for an excellent Judas in this capture.
