The Original Broadway Cast Recording for the new musical New York, New Yorkwill be released digitally on Friday, June 9!

Unlike many cast recordings, the album features the show's complete score, comprising 90 minutes of music, including orchestral interludes. CD and vinyl versions are planned for later this year.

If it’s 90 minutes I wonder if the CD will be a two disc set or if they’ll decide instead to leave some tracks off the CD release like Almost Famous just did.

It doesn't appear that the full album is being released digitally on June 9th. It's only a single of the title song being released.

Where are you hearing that from?  According to LMM it's out on Friday.

Generally, you can check the Australian iTunes to confirm a forthcoming album release and they've only released a single of "New York, New York" in that time zone.

That's very interesting.  All the press releases said the full cast recording was being released digitally on June 9th.  You would think if those plans had changed, they would have put out a release stating it had been delayed.  Very baffling!

Per Julie James (of SiriusXM On Broadway), the full album will now drop on June 23.

The title song will be released tomorrow.
