Has anyone heard anything at all about THE TRAVELS or MR. CONFIDENTIAL? Good, bad or indifferent... anything??

I saw MR CONFIDENTIAL. It was pretty awful. I wouldn't bother.
Loved THE GIG (probably my favorite) and VALUEVILLE was entertaining as well.
Seeing CLINTON tomorrow. Have heard good things about it.

I saw CLINTON tonight. For the most part it was very entertaining and super funny. Most of the cast is great. There's some extremely clever songs and the audience seemed to be really enjoying it. The two guys playing Clinton were excellent, especially Duke Lafoon. He totally nails Clinton's voice and mannerisms. My other two favorites were Kevin Zak as the creepy show stopping Kenneth Starr. Hilarious. And Tom Souhrada as the Clinton obsessed Newt Gingrich. His portrayal is hysterical and he sings his face off in two huge numbers. John Gregorio was funny also as the Newsguy, but his Dick Morris stuff was kind of uncomfortable. Not really his fault though.

The worst part of the show is the awful direction, choreography and lighting. I felt so bad for the performers who are working their butts off. There are times when people couldn't be seen because of the staging and lighting. And the choreography was so bad and distracting.

I feel like this show has potential because there is some clever writing. It could have a chance in a small Off-Broadway production similar to SILENCE or NEWSICAL. But, only if they got a better director and choreographer with more original staging.

I didn't love the script for Mr. Confidential but I enjoyed some of the performers. It was not a great show at all... but I didn't hate that I went.

Then again, I can find something to enjoy in most things..

Went to the final performance of Mother Jones last night. Sold-out house, huge standing ovation, phenomenal performance.

The show tweeted to "stay tuned for future updates" Can't wait to see what's next for this show!

It was such an honor to be a part of it! The best cast and crew. I, too, can't wait to see where it goes next.

Lynne won and Michelle Tattenbaum got an honorable mention for directing Mother Jones. Mother Jones also got 2nd Runner Up for Best in Fest.

Bayonets of Angst won best ensemble. Brian Charles Rooney and J Robert Spencer (both of Bayonets of Angst) won solo awards. That's all Facebook is telling me so far.
