"I didn't see it Off-Broadway, and most of the commentary I've heard included the word 'cliche.'"

The only thing cliche about the play is the premises, which, though a conceit, advances the plot effectively. Otherwise, the writing is quite earnest and human...and the ensemble is simply splendid.

What I have read about it sounds incredibly intriguing.

And I agree that the marquee and doors are gorgeous.

I agree with WickedRocks. the premise set up sounds cliche and then it sort of twists it up from there and becomes far more intelligent and moving than you would think based on the quick byline. I loved it Off-Bway and I'm so glad the original cast is transferring!
