What's everyone looking forward to?
So far, we have the following announced....
Musicals - Mamma Mia, Queen of Versailles, Lost Boys, Rocky Horror revival, Dolly, and Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil. We may possibly get Get Happy (previously Summer Stock at Goodspeed) and The Interestings (from Sarah Bareilles).
Dramas - Call Me Izzy, Waiting for Godot, Oedipus, Punch, Sugar Daddy, Fallen Angels, and All Out: A Comedy About Life.
So far, nothing has sparked much interest here.
Waiting for confirmation on Chess, Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) and the Jamie Lloyd Much Ado.
Anxious to hear what you're all excited for...
A Chess confirmation should be coming fairly soon.

Cats: the Jellicle Ball........thou it does remain to be seen whether a Broadway transfer or an off-Broadway remount
I read an article, I believe to be on Deadline, that GIANT starring John Lithgow is supposed to transfer sometime after it concludes its West End transfer later this summer.
As of some potential transfers to New York from London:

Webber had an interview this morning where he mentioned Cats the Jellicle Ball. Apparently it’s aiming for a 2026 transfer so next spring.
Hope Benjamin Button comes over and that Chess gets confirmed.
There’s also the rumored Damn Yankees revival.

There will be a pre-Broadway run of this. I imagine it's looking at the 26–27 season for Broadway.
Last I heard, which was a couple weeks ago, Cats still has no theatre lined up. That, of course, could have changed, but it does seem dependent on currently running productions setting closing plans (imo, the current configuration of Circle in the Square for Just in Time is pretty darn similar to Cats’ setup at PAC)
Bartlett Sher loves bringing his work to Broadway so possibly Millions if it has a positive reception in Georgia. And with that cast? It probably will.

Yeah, if I were part of the producing team of Cats, I would just wait until Circle in the Square is open. Just in Time won't run forever, probably just the length of whatever Groff's contract is.

This is accurate. No theater yet. Recreating what happened downtown costs money.

Just in Time is currently on sale until the end of July for regular tickets, but group sales are selling later. Guess they’re hedging their bets on an extension, but it’s a ton of work for Groff. We’ll see how long he can hang.

I just wonder how much time Lithgow will have after the London run with his multi-year commitment to the new Harry Potter cable series.

Dumbledore is not that big of a character, they could easily block shoot all of his stuff in a few weeks

I really hope it does, too, but it shouldn't go directly to Broadway. It needs to build up some hype in America. Maybe like what SIX did and do a soft North American tour first, then take it to Broadway for a VERY LIMITED run. Or premiere it Off-Broadway in a small space like The Public or NYTW first, and if it's received well, then maybe transfer it to Broadway. There are a lot of options producers should consider when bringing this very British musical over to the States. As someone who's seen it seven times already in the West End, you need to see it a couple of times to really understand the story. I don't know how American audiences will receive it.

Some other possibilities include:
The Devil Wears Prada (Chicago & UK)
Becoming Nancy (Alliance & UK)
Empire Records (McCarter)
Come Fall in Love (Old Globe)
Regency Girls (Old Globe)
The Bedwetter (Atlantic & Arena)
A Wrinkle in Time (Arena)
The Karate Kid (St. Louis)
They all had broadway producers behind them, so will be interested to see which end up getting theaters.

I didn't even know a Benjamin Burton musical existed until this thread, but I don't get why people wouldn't "understand " the story, especially if they're American. What makes this "very British?" The original short story, after all, is by the quintessential American writer and wad turned into a popular film starring the quintessential American leading man.
Setting has changed. If I remember correctly, it’s in Cornwall now. I definitely enjoyed it, but I could see NY being hesitant about it. We’ve had similar shows that haven’t hit. The narration is Come From Away-like, but the music felt very Last Ship (the Sting show). I believe that was also set in Cornwall, and I love that music too, but audiences clearly didn’t.
