Would love to see Almost Famous here!
Does the Old Globe have a specific theatre chain they generally work with when they transfer shows from there?

The only two recent shows that are credited as "produced in association with Old Globe Theatre" (as opposed to simply being credited with the original production but not being listed as an actual producer) are Bright Star and Gentleman's Guide. Bright Star was at the Cort, a Shubert house, and Gentleman's Guide was at the Kerr, which is a Jujamcyn house.
The Old Globe is not the lead producer of ALMOST FAMOUS, and thus it would have no involvement in securing a Broadway house. Joey Parnes (who also produced Gents Guide and Bright Star) and Columbia (run by Lia Vollack) are the lead producers.

Honestly feel like this is better theater for Six. The mezz feels a lot closer to the action. I always felt the mezz at the Brooks felt so distancing.
Makes sense re: AF. I realized quickly after I posted that Old Globe would have no say in the securing of the theater unless they were lead producing, but thought I’d throw it out there as I was to lazy to actually check, so thanks for the info! I have to wonder if they are looking...
Isn't Harry Connick Jr. doing a show at the Nederlander starting in December?
Maybe the Ivanka musical will transfer over here

YES Thank you! I’ve been going crazy trying to remember what was announced for the theatre this winter!

No, it's not an open run. He's starting a tour celebrating the music of Cole Porter. The run at the Nederlander is the start of the tour. Think of it like one of the concerts that has been going on at The Lunt.
So then there’s probably something going in this theatre in the spring.
Is there any buzz on Becoming Nancy at the Alliance? It's got Jerry Mitchell directing.
