If Sweat is really going to transfer, as rumored, I could see it taking the Kerr.
There's another thread discussing this already.
Amélie's time is up... so what'll head into the Kerr next?
SpongeBob!
(hoping to make at least one person chuckle here)
^ I mean. I've heard they are eyeing the Al Hirschfeld which is also owned by Jujamcyn. So if Kinky Boots isn't ready to close, they may offer the Kerr to them.

Serious question, is that still positioned for next season? I haven't heard much about it since the summer aside from one page that has a June 1 opening date at venue TBA, so that can't be true.

The Kerr is WAY too small for Spongebob.
In all seriousness, I'd like to see a play go in here next

I just came to say the same thing.
Bring Back Falsettos!!!!!!! That's the only thing I want to see at the Kerr. That run was TOO SHORT!
Could that Secret Garden production fit in the Kerr?
Could the National Theatre's Angels In America make a return after Ben Brantley's rave this morning in London?

A girl can dream.
i second secret garden!!
Angels is currently slated to run through mid-late August at the National Theatre, so I could see it transferring in mid-Fall if that was happening.
M. Butterfly could work too!

I'm not sure how much this would actually play a factor, but Angels at the National takes full advantage of the Lyttelton's huge, deep stage. I don't know if it could even fit at the Kerr without some adjustments. That being said, I am also hoping big time for a transfer in the fall.
I'm still hoping for a ride the cyclone transfer, but perhaps the Kerr is too large.

If ride the cyclone transfers it would be in the 2018/2019 season as there is a production scheduled at 5th avenue theatre in seattle next spring
