If you have any doubt about it being GENERAL, print out the statement from the website and take it with you! Proof that it does not say STUDENT.
Notice how the poster insisting it was only student rush has disappeared from this thread....
i know kong. but the point i was trying to make is that you never know. for anyone saying that since it just says "rush" reasons to be pretty also just said rush on their site but that is a student rush. but the fact that it says rush instead of student rush implies that it is most likely a general rush.

what the **** does that have to do with your comment regarding BWW posting that Eden Espinosa was going to be in Hair?
well hmm. lets see. i made the reference about eden to say explain my view that just because bww posted it it doesnt mean it's 100% true. you go on to talk about eden being in hair having no reference to this thread. lets not turn this into a war thread huh?

still not following how the one post relates to the other.
you tried to claim the BWW is not necessarily a reliable source because of the eden espinosa story, i pointed out that the eden espinosa story was not the fault of BWW and had nothing to do with their reliability, it had to do with the producers making an announcement before securing talent. you then ignored my point and started talking about the websites for Reasons to Be Pretty and Next to Normal.
awesome. great. bravo. back to next to normal. there's nothing on playbill's rush page which is usually the one i use. i guess we won't find out until friday unless someone on here visits the BO tomorrow. but like you guys were saying, the box office people aren't always 100% filled in.
what is the reasons to be pretty site?

adamgreer, what reason do I have to continue to post in the thread? I'm certainly not "hiding" or anything of the sort.
I made my point: the guy at the box office explicitly referred to it as student rush when the listing on their website (which seems to be the item in contention) was given as the reason for the uncertainty of the policy. Obviously he was ill-informed.
I didn't take issue with KingKong's assertion that it was a general rush. My problem lied in how he threatened to "demand" tickets based on the ad alone, the merits of which the staff member at The Booth treated with disregard.
I'm wondering how early I should get to the box office in order to get rush tickets. Would anyone that's planning on rushing within the next couple days please report back about how early to get to the box office?
So I am not a student and went to the rush this morning. When I got up to the window the woman at the box office said it was a student rush only.
I showed her the all the stuff I printed off the internet that said it wasnt a student rush. She said she had been told it was for students only and the tickets print out with "stntrsh" on them, but she took my printouts and sold me the tickets anyways.
They really need to get their policy straight because they are saying one thing online and another at the box office.
So it is a student rush? I'm confused.
Well, either way, I'll be there tonight. Can't wait to see the show again.
I had friends (students) who rushed this morning and it was indeed student rush - they checked for IDs.
I don't mean to say "I told you so," but that's the same information the box office was putting out on Wednesday.
A friend rushed and got two seats in the house right box.
She was the eleventh person in line and was told by the two people ahead of her that they'd gotten there at 7:30, so I can't imagine how early those near the front arrived.
I was the 14th out of 15 people total and I got there at 9:40.
I dont think they know if its a student rush or not, online it says one thing and in person they say another.
I'm just glad I got my ticket despite not being a student.

i posted in another thread, we got there at 6. hopefully they figure out whether it's going to be student or not and how to get the tickets out of the computer, since that was an issue this morning.
Oh, so thats what the big hold up was for. Doors opened at 10 and then nobody moved for 15 mins.

yeah, they were able to print the first 2, BB 1-3 and then when she tried to print the center ones they wouldn't come up, so the woman got on the phone.
they are not the brightest in that box office, i had issues when SOML was there as well.

My friends and I were 8-10 in line and we ended up with 2 tickets front row center orch, 2 tickets front row side orch, and 2 tickets in one of the boxes.
