^My friends were going in another direction. They were speculating which facial contortions were likely closest to his O face.

I am very excited for this! I think it's great he's trying to break his Disney image and hopefully from now on, people wont completely disregard his Broadway (and all his theatrical) history.

Posted: 1/22/12 at 6:40pm^I think he's definitely trying to shed the Disney image a bit. He said on Broadway.com that he'd consider being nude on stage like Radcliffe did.

I think he'll do better than Radcliffe or Criss as he's used to performing musically on stage. However, I have no idea what his voice will sound like after 8 shows a week. He sang poorly on live TV with his brothers when they were on tour and their voices sounded shot.
As far as poor sales, I kind of expected this. Aren't the Jonas Brothers kinda over. Haven't they been eclipsed by GLEE, Bieber, Big Time Rush and all the other tween acts (Gomez, Lovato, )

Posted: 1/22/12 at 7:37pmNick Jonas sounds good and looks great in that clip. I neither want anyone to fail nor do I dwell on past less than stellar performances. There are such things in the world I live in as redemption and forgiveness, in addition to optimism and goodwill...and my name is not Pollyanna.

Posted: 1/22/12 at 8:34pmI caved and bought a TDF ticket for Wednesday Feb 1st...I'm more excited for Michael Urie (<333333333333) but Jonas did surprise me in the rehearsal footage, and with a little polish, who knows? This could turn out to be a $45 investment well placed...

Posted: 1/22/12 at 8:46pmDarren Chris would have had the same sales if he were running for 6 months. I hope NJ is good. I had the same wishes for DC. But I am not going back because the production is such **** and I don't want my hard earned money supporting crap on broadway.

"Radcliffe is 5'5"
Jonas is 5'9"
Criss is somewhere between 5'6" and 5'9" (conflicting reports)"
Whoever thinks Criss is 5'6" doesn't have a good sense of size. I met Criss recently, he's my height (5'10"). Perhaps 5'9", if he were wearing boots.

Posted: 1/23/12 at 9:15amAm I the only one unimpressed? He has literally NO facial expressions or thought process going on at all.

Posted: 1/23/12 at 9:23amI was impressed in comparison to his Les Miz 25 performance, at least. I wish he'd been half this good at that.

Posted: 1/23/12 at 12:49pmWow...I am suprisingly impressed as well. Especially compared to the Les Mis 25 performance. Is he a stellar Broadway singer? No, but he has vastly improve since Les Mis.
